A luxury bedroom is something we all desire in one way or another. If you’ve ever been in a nice hotel, you know what to expect. An en-suite, a big wardrobe, plenty of floor space and much more. How can you get a bedroom like this at home, though? Where do you start? There are ways. Some are quicker than others, but they’re all worth considering. Take a good look at some of the ideas we’ve put together for that luxury feel.

Minimalism

Have you ever noticed even in the nicest luxury bedrooms there’s not a whole lot going on? That’s part of how they create the impression of space, rather than through sheer size. Take a look at your room right now. What is taking up all the space? Bookcases, cabinets, and other assorted personal effects. If you want the space you see in luxury bedrooms, you need to move all that somewhere else. If want to have space, just do it. What have you got to lose?

Bed

A lumpy, sad single bed isn’t even remotely approaching luxury. It might have served you well for sleeping, but if you want true luxury, you need to replace it. Visit http://johnryanbydesign.co.uk for more information on the types of luxury bed you can buy. If you can’t quite find space for a double, luxury singles will have to do. A good night’s sleep is only made better with a luxury bed.

En-Suite

This is a fairly big job. It is, however, one of the peaks of a luxury bedroom. Why bother using the regular bathroom when you have one connected right to your bedroom? If you share a house with others, this can also be great at reducing the ‘morning rush’ for the bathroom when everybody has to get ready. An en-suite can surpass your regular bathroom if you have enough space. En-suite conversions are usually made by knocking through to a spare room. These spare rooms can be fairly spacious depending on the design of your house, and nowhere near as confined and close quarters as a regular bathroom. If you want to take an extra step into luxury with a spa bath and a shower unit together in the same room, you can have just that.

Sliding Wardrobe

Everybody wants one of these. They’re discreet, and you can have them with a mirrored surface. That eliminates the need for both a conventional wardrobe and a dressing mirror in your room. If your bedroom already has a wardrobe inlaid into the wall, all you need to do is change the sliding doors. If you don’t have the wardrobe inlaid already, that’s what you’ll need to get done. It highly depends on the space between the next room over. You’ll either be able to knock through, or you’ll have to sacrifice some room space as it is built inwards towards your room instead.

There’s more to a luxury bedroom than just this, but for a simpler and quicker conversion of your existing room these ideas can do the trick.
