There are different ways of making Shawarma chicken in the middle east, however, this recipe is made in Iraq. The boneless chicken breast is preferred part of the chicken. INGREDIENTS; 2.5 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast, 1 medium size onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of Shawarma chicken spicy, 1.5 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon of white pepper, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 4 tablespoon of oil olive, 2 tablespoon of vinegar, 1/4 cup of lemon.
Cut the chicken into thin slices. Slices shouldn't be any bigger than your pinky. You may also begin to pour olive oil into a pan and turn the stove on to medium to begin warming it up.
Cut the garlic into thin slices. Be sure to use a different cutting surface to avoid cross contamination.
Cut the onion into thin slices.
Warm up the oil olive.Be sure the olive oil got at least 1 minute on the stove.
Add the garlic. Be sure to spread it around in the pan. Wait for one minute and then add the onion. Still spreading the garlic and onion around.
Add the chicken to the garlic and the onion after 2 minutes. Stir the chicken to mix it around with the garlic and onion.
Add the lemon, the vinegar, and the spices after 2 minutes. If you can keep stirring while you add ingredients it will help even out the spices quicker.
Stir the mixture every eight minutes.
Remove it from the heat after 24 minutes and enjoy the taste.
