The Caravan is a minivan manufactured by Dodge. In 2000, Dodge changed the Caravan by introducing Stow ‘n Go seating. Prior to 2000, owners would have to remove entire rows of seating to free up room. Now the seats can be conveniently stored in storage compartments located in front of each row. The Stow ‘n Go seating allows for entire rows of seats to be folded down into the floor. This allows you to have enough room to shuttle the kids yet also plenty of room for the groceries.
Push all the armrests in the second and third row all the way up.
Put down the headrests by pressing the "Unlock" button located at the base of the headrests. The headrest should be pushed down until it rests against the seat back.
Locate the locking tab in the storage bin in front of the row. Switch the tab to the locked position.
Hold the handle of the storage compartment and open its door. On the outer side of the seat is a reclining handle that controls the seat's position. Pull this handle up to fold the seat down.
Find the looped strap located on the rear of the seat. Pull the strap outward, away from the seating and towards you. This will allow you to move the row.
Grab hold of the row of seats and push it forward until it collapses into the storage compartment. Make sure you continue to pull on the loop while you are moving the row.
Close the storage compartment.
