An iPhone is a smart phone with extensive capabilities, manufactured and sold by Apple Inc. However, because of the price and the sensitivity of this type of electronic device, protecting it is foremost on the minds of owners. Since the iPhone operates primarily with a touch screen, it is important to protect that screen from smudges, scratches, and other trauma. Applying a protective screen cover protects your iPhone from the damage of daily use.
Clean your iPhone and your work area. Dust, oils, and other particles result in a poor application of protective screen covers. Clean your iPhone with a soft cloth and cleaning solution. Make sure your hands are clean and your work area is free of dust and debris.
Remove the protective mask from the back of the protective cover. Once this mask is removed, do not touch that side of the protective cover. Be careful not to touch your iPhone screen at this point.
Position the protective cover over your iPhone to ensure that it is centered properly. Set down the protective cover on your iPhone screen when it is centered. Carefully apply the cover to the screen using a credit card or small piece of cardboard to apply pressure.
Remove any bubbles. Air bubbles sometimes form beneath the cover during application. These bubbles should be pressed out from the center of the phone outward. Use your credit card or the small piece of cardboard to push the bubbles out from under the cover.
Remove the protective mask from the outside of the protective cover. Take care not to remove the entire protective cover.
