Making a template of your work top/counter top is not hard; in fact, it is simple to do. It is important to make a template so you will have a guide with precise measurements that will eliminate the need to measure everything twice, write the figures down and keep track of what goes where. All you do is trace cut-out areas of your old work top and transfer them to the new work top/counter top.
Step One
Remove everything from inside the cabinets. Also remove the drawers and doors from the cabinets.
