An EA code can be caused by no gas being available. We recommend making the following checks as a way to confirm if gas is available.
If you have other gas appliances, such as a fire or cooker, see if they work.
If applicable, check that your gas pre-payment card has credit.
If your gas supply is not working please contact your supplier. If your gas supply is working please follow the next steps below.
If there are freezing temperatures outside and the boiler is making a gurgling noise then the boiler’s condensate pipe may have frozen.
