To prevent damage, do not drive your nondiesel vehicle using diesel gas. Otherwise, you might have to clean each engine component to remove the contamination rather than simply emptying the gas tank. If you have driven the vehicle with diesel gas or if it has died, call a mechanic, and have your vehicle towed immediately.
Raise the rear of the car using a jack, and then place two jack stands beneath the car to support it. Find your fuel tank in the rear end of your car on the side where you fill your car with gas. Reference your owners manual for the exact location of your fuel tank, as it varies from vehicle to vehicle.
