Technoblade's Minecraft gameplay was watched by more than 11 million players. He also provided commentary on camera. He presented every day life events in videos that range from the mundane to going to a D.M.V. or as devastating as receiving a cancer diagnosis. Technoblade's YouTube channel uploaded a video entitled "so long geeks" on Thursday. The video was viewed more 26 million times as of Friday afternoon. The video is a departure from the channel's usual aesthetic, which features colorful bricks with pixelated colors. Technoblade's dad is instead in a chair , accompanied by a small white dog on a stark white background. His father, who doesn't reveal his name, reads the message from his child that begins: "Hello everyone. Technoblade is here. If you are watching this, I am dead." The message then goes on to reveal Technoblade's first name, Alex. He didn’t use it on the internet. A few images of Alex and his family are also included in the video. He hasn't often presented himself in his YouTube videos, preferring to show himself in his character: a crown-crowned, sword-wielding pig. "If I had another hundred years to live I'm sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade again every single time," Alex's letter says. "Those were the most enjoyable years of my life." His father, who is still emotional throughout the video says that Alex and he had been discussing for months the idea to make a final film. Instead, Alex decided to write the letter and died about eight hours after completing it, his father says. He adds, "I don’t think he was able to say everything he wanted, however I believe he was able to get the main points." The video ends with a statement written by the writer attributed to Alex's mother, who is not named. She said that her son did not want to be famous and was self-deprecating, even as his channel grew in popularity. "From Technoblade's very first days on the internet, he was always strategizing ways to delight and reward his audience, giving away online prizes as well as encouraging good sportsmanship, and, most of all sharing his Minecraft adventures for fun and entertainment," she wrote. Alex's family could not be reached on Friday. Hypixel is a gaming company said that Alex's family had requested no comment be sent to them. Don Pireso, the company administrator, stated in a direct tweet that "The video they shared contains all the information they are confident about sharing." Alex posted his August video on his YouTube channel, where Alex first announced his diagnosis of cancer. Like the others the video, it showed the game as he spoke off camera. Thinkofdeath He maintained his self-deprecating and humorous manner, avoiding any attempt to be too serious. He also admitted his age of 22. Minecraft He recalled how his first chemotherapy treatment caused him to be so exhausted that he couldn't even sit up to make a virtual appointment with a doctor. He then joked "Sitting in the chair do I look like Superman?" He said he was diagnosed after he experienced severe pain in his arm. He initially dismissed it as a stress injury from playing video games, however, after a few days of rest, he claimed that his shoulder "was swelling up to the roof." He also urged people to obtain a Covid-19 vaccine, saying that the cancer treatments affected his immune system, placing him at greater risk of serious illness from the coronavirus. "I'm going to go ahead and speak on behalf of all cancer patients when I say that it is extremely annoying that hospitals are overloaded with people dying of preventable diseases," he said in the video. "I'm just saying that we should have priority for those hospital beds. On social media, Technoblade's family and fans were awestruck by his humor and for being a role model for Minecraft players. Minecraft is different than other games because its creator, Microsoft does not have control over the servers that players can meet online. Instead, players can create their own servers or join one made by another person, creating an enormous universe of worlds within the Minecraft universe. Hypixel who manages a network of Minecraft servers said it had created a digital book in which people could write messages and then they could be printed and distributed to the loved ones of Technoblade. The tribute featured a photo of Technoblade's pig-like avatar as an artifact. Thinkofdeath The company stated that Technoblade's success is tied in many ways to the success and success of many people.
