Moss is attractive in small amounts on trees and other areas, but moss can quickly become a problem when it begins to grow on a path made of any material. It will become a breeding ground for a variety of small creatures who may dine on your plants. It will also make the path more slippery, possibly causing injury to yourself or others. Moss running rampant on your path will make an otherwise appealing landscape look uncared for.
Mix together 2 1/2 tablespoons of iron sulphate with a gallon of water. Pour it into a watering can or spray bottle.
Use a pressure washer to spray the moss off the path. Be sure to dispose of all removed moss by throwing it into a trash receptacle, or it will return.
