Fences act as a way to protect your home and yard from the elements. They protect both of them from unwanted intruders such as stray animals or someone looking to cause damage to your property. However, over time fence panels can become worn down and will in some cases need replacing. Luckily, fence panels can easily be bought from your local home center. Taking the time and care to replace them will keep your home protected as well as attractive.
Step One
Remove any fence panels that are broken or worn. Using the claw side of the hammer, partially pry the panel off of the fence. Normally the panel will be nailed at two spots--near the top of the panel and near the bottom of the panel. Pry the panel just enough so that you can fit the claw of the hammer underneath the head of the nail to pull it off.
