Roku is a streaming player that you can connect to your home network either wired or wirelessly, depending on the device model. It streams music, movies, and TV shows from the Internet, right to your TV. You can add channels or remove them when you no longer want to view shows from that channel. Removing channels from the Roku streaming box is easy. You will need a working Wi-Fi connection to access the Roku store, which is where you have to go to manage your Roku channels.
