One of the best things about buying new is that you’re getting a safer home. And I’m not just talking about the way new homes are built. Sure, they’re built in a much safer way that means they’ll last longer. There’s less risk of your roof breaking down or your walls crumbling. But, my main focus is on health risks and hazards that can build up in a house over time. Buy an old house and you could move into a home with asbestos in the ceiling and mould everywhere. These are two common issues that occur in a lot of homes. They may not seem like a big deal, but they can be problematic to someone’s health.
If you buy a new build home, you get a completely fresh house. There’s no risk of any asbestos or mould or anything else! Your family’s health won’t be at risk, and they’ll be a lot safer.
You can now see why I think buying a new home is such a good idea. There are so many benefits to buying new; it’s certainly worth paying a little extra for a more modern home.
