Even though central air conditioning is a necessity for most homeowners, the central air unit doesn’t have to be an unsightly eyesore in your lawn. It’s easy to hide a central air conditioning unit with a couple of quick fixes that can be done at any time.
Measure out a distance of at least two feet all the way around your air conditioning unit and mark the space with flags or spray paint. When hiding the unit, you will need to leave a space of at least two feet for the air to circulate. Keep in mind that you will also need to keep an open entryway so you can access the unit for maintenance.
Keep your shrubs healthy by watering them at least once a week and trimming them at least once a month during the summer. Once they grow to full height, your air conditioning unit will be hidden by beautiful shrubbery that will enhance the appeal of your lawn.
