Move and turn the motor unit upside down and take off the cover and baseplate to access the gear and motors.
Clean anything that is attached or causing the gears and motor to work incorrectly. This could be old ingredients or mixtures from previous times you made ice cream that may have gotten stuck in the gears or motor, causing it to jam.
Reassemble the parts and put your ice cream machine back together.
