Shoes are prone to stains and scuff marks. Any mark or dirt on white shoes will be very noticeable. There are methods to clean your shoes and make them white again whether they are leather, canvas or some other material. Which method you use may depend on the type of stain. There are also two methods of covering the stains to make them white again, if you are unable to clean them.
Remove scuff marks on white leather shoes by dabbing on a small amount of nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol and rub gently. Use hot water and soap to scrub stains on white canvas shoes. Rinse, blot the area, then allow to dry. Remove mild stains, dirt and debris with baby wipes or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Smear a light coat of white toothpaste over the stains on canvas shoes, if you are unable to get them clean using the previous steps. The toothpaste will absorb into the fabric and dry.
