Plex Media Server is a free computer application that allows you to connect your computer to a television and stream media from sources such as your iTunes library or online sources, such as Hulu and YouTube. If you do not have an Internet-enabled television, Plex Media Server can allow you to essentially use your computer as the television’s Internet connection without spending money on an expensive software solution. Download Plex for free from the official Plex Media Server website.

Click the “Download” link on the next page and save the file “Plex-Media-Server-v0.9.207-en-US.exe” to the desktop. Note that the version number was current at the time of publication and is subject to change.
