You’re eyes are muscles and needs to be exercised just like any other muscle you have. If you have a astigmatism then that means your eyes are strong focusing one way and weak focusing the other way. Exercising will help even them out and restore eye site for both the near and farsighted. Yes you eye does actually change shape that is how it focuses.Bare in mind that to get good results it takes time and dedication, this is not a get fixed quick scheme, this is for people who want to restore their eye sight without cutting parts of their eyes out to do so. This is learning to have complete control of your body, it is extremely empowering SEEING the results.
The exercises 1 : While sitting and relaxed look across the room at the far wall, without turning your head look to the left with your eyes then center them, then look to the right then center them, then look up then center them and then look down and then center them while looking in each for 1 to 2 seconds. repeat this process often.
The exercises 2 : While seated and relaxed hold something to focus on such as a pen or pencil in front of you at arm’s length, slowly move it to your nose while focusing on it then move it away and repeat.
The exercises 3 : Sit down and get comfortable, close your eyes and cover them with the palms of your hands. Keep from pressing hard -the goal is to keep out as much light as possible- once there are no gaps and little to no light is coming through open your eyes and relax them taking deep breaths, focus on relaxing them for 2-3 minutes then remove your hands let your eye get adjusted to the light and repeat this process.
The exercises 4 : Close your eyes tight for 4 or 5 seconds, then open them for 4 or 5 seconds and repeat this process as often as you can, doing this several times a day will help.
The exercises 5 : Close your eyes and relax them, once relaxed place your fingers on your eyelids and press firmly but not hard, hold them there for 3 to 5 seconds and repeat.
The exercises 6 Close your eyes and relax them, once relaxed massage them with your fingers moving them in a circle pressing softly, do this for about 2 minutes.
The exercises 7 : Roll your eyes clockwise and the counter-clockwise. repeat this process stopping for several blinks in between, this will help with blood flow to the eyes.
The exercises 8 : Sitting about 6 inches from a window place a sticker or something to mark your eye level on the window. Look past the mark and focus on something in the distance for 10 to 15 seconds then focus on the mark on the window for 10 to 15 seconds and repeat. Do this often.
The exercises 9 : This works best outside. Focus on an object in the distance about 100 to 150 feet away after 3 to 5 seconds slowly refocus your eyes on a closer object that is 40 to 50 feet away but is in the same line of sight for 3 to 5 seconds repeat this process several times.
